Does LPU provide Scholarships to students? I have financial issue?

Yes, LPU provides scholarships to its students based on various criteria. You can give LPU NEST which is a scholarship test conducted by LPU itself and get a huge fee waiver of up to 50%. You can also get scholarships based on performance in Nation Level Entrance exams as well. Suppose if you are looking for a B.Tech programme then you may also get a scholarship based on the marks obtained in JEE Mains. Other than that you can also avail of Sports and Culture based scholarship or if you are a board topper then you can avail the Board Toppers scholarships. You can visit the University Website or just search for " Scholarships in LPU" to know more about scholarships. Note that the Sports& Culture and Board scholarship are condition-based. In the case of Sports & Culture-based scholarship, you will have to be consistent with your performance in order to score at least 6 points out of 10 from the pointer scale as decided by the university. And similar is the case with Board toppers scholarship I. e you are required to maintain a certain CGPA in each year to continue getting the benefit of the scholarship for the complete term of your programme.

Yes definitely LPU has been giving equal opportunities to each and every student. LPU has a strong belief that monetary problems should not be an obstacle for a student to stop them from dreaming they should have access to quality education. The University provides Scholarships to students on various parameters. Scholarship can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. Students have been awarded scholarships worth Rs. 100+ crores in last year only. LPU conducts an LPU NEST exam every year for scholarships and eligibility in specific courses. Types of scholarships that LPU gives. 1) There is up to 50% scholarship through LPU NEST Exam. 2) 100% scholarship may also be achieved through Sports / Cultural Scholarship. 3) Scholarships are also given to the students based on their Percentage in the Qualifying Exam. 4) Defence Scholarship is given towards Defence personnel. 5) Scholarship on performance in Social Service / Bravery (NSS/NCC) 6) Scholarship on performance in Research & Development (R&D) 7) if the student is Board Topper, and moreover Orphan Scholarships are also available in LPU. 8) Scholarships also be offered to a person with a certain disability. Being an alumnus of LPU, I believe I can answer your concern. I got scholarship during my M.Tech which was very helpful to me. LPU offers many scholarships on various parameters and one of them is based on your performance in LPU NEST. In some courses LPU NEST is mandatory but in others it is for scholarships. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1. Eligibility Qualification The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. 2. Certain National Level Tests (like JEE Main NEET UCEED CAT MAT GATE GPAT etc. ) 3. LPU NEST. (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test) 4. Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards 5. Special Scholarships and/or Fee Concessions for Ph.D. Applicants (Scholarship phases as mentioned below are not applicable) Defense and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel and their dependents Toppers of Education Board Scholarship for Orphan Applicants Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability The university has set up a separate loan assistance cell to enable the students, at the time of admission, to obtain loans from banks with which the university has tie ups.
