Does LPU provide Scholarships to students? I have financial issue?

Scholarship can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. Students have been awarded scholarships worth Rs. 100+ crores in last year only. LPU awarding Scholarships Scheme to students on various parameters like: LPU NEST entrance exam, Previous qualification, sports, culture, social service, Tabs, Defense, NEED based financial Aid, National Level Test, Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board, Scholarship for Orphan Applicants/Single girl child, Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability. Even Student Loan assistance ship is available in the university for financial help. LPU has been ranked 78th amongst all government and private universities by NIRF ranking released by MHRD, Government of India.

Believe me LPU is one such institute that goes extra mile to support so that the financial constraint should not be a challenge to study. In lieu of the same there are varied categories of scholarships that are offered. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1. Scholarship:Eligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification: The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. For example, on the basis of performance in 10+2 for Undergraduate Programmes and Graduation for Postgraduate ProgrammesLPUNEST: (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test)Certain National Level Tests (like JEE Main NEET UCEED CAT MAT GATE GPAT etc. )Performance in, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery AwardsScholarships/ Fee Benefits for Ph.D. Scholarship Scheme for Toppers of School Education Boards 2. Lovely Professional University strongly believes in the fact that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. They provide multiple scholarship based on your performance in your academics, sports performance, culture activities, financial aid scheme, study grant. The University extends Scholarship and Financial Aid Scheme which is an initiative by the University to cultivate the talent of students that may be hidden due to financial constraints.

As per me, Lovely Professional University is one that gives the best grants to understudies in India. Here I am referencing a portion of the scholarships with brief details so you have a fundamental idea regarding the different grants that LPU offers. Lovely Professional University conducts its own test LPU NEST (National Entrance & Scholarship Test). This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programme's test is applicable only for a scholarship. The amount of scholarship depends on three factors one is how much is the fee of the programme, date of admission and marks of the student in LPU NEST. Lovely Professional University believes that talent is not captive to anything. But, many talented students have to compromise on their careers because of financial lack. LPU is giving scholarships on the basis of their performance in Sports, Cultural, R & D, Co-curricular, Social Service, Bravery Awards which aims at realizing the dreams of all those who seriously chase their dreams. This university also offers fee Concessions for Defence, Para-Military, CAPF personnel and their dependents. I don't know about other universities but LPU is providing a huge amount of financial relief.

Hi Sameeksha, In a bid to owe the social responsibility towards the needy, and give a token to the meritorious, LPU offers a range of scholarships and financial aid. You do not have to apply for a scholarship every time you pay the fee. What you get at the time of admission, continues till the course is over. However, the criteria is different for those who have sought admission through sports quota, board toppers and performing arts. If you are a board topper and someone from sports category and extra curricular performance category, you will have to either maintain a CGPA or keep performing in sports or extracurricular activities as the case may be. Otherwise if you have got scholarship through LPU NEST then you are not bound to maintain your academic or sports performance. There are other scholarships the university offers. Marks based (for previous two qualifying Exams) Performance in other National Level Entrance test Performance in Sports, Performance in Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Services, Bravery Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board Financial Aid for Defense /CAPF and their dependents Financial Aid for Orphan Candidates Financial Aid for Persons with certain disabilities LPUNEST Study Grant Minorities Transgender Non Traditional student Need Based-Financial Aid EWS scholarship for those whose family income is less than 5 lacs Single girl child Single Mother Orphan. LPU offers a special scholarship of Full Tuition fee waiver to Indian resident orphan students whose both parents are dead. The university gives scholarships on the basis of a first come first serve basis to 10 applicants. The candidate having benchmark disability of more than 70% and/or Locomotor disability caused by spinal cord injury can avail the benefit of full programme fee waiver. However, the LPU committee scrutinises the case. LPU offers exclusive Scholarship schemes for Tibetan Students studying in CTA (Central Tibetan Administration) Schools and Students studying in different schools managed by Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan where on the basis of test conducted in schools of the concerned organisation and/or recommendation of the concerned authority of the organisation, certain students may be offered full tuition fee waiver.
