    Yes, Merrimack College offers a wide variety of scholarships to all their international students based upon many factors, including financial need, academic excellence, athletic, musical, and theatrical talent, affiliation with various groups, or career aspirations. These scholarships are gift aid and do not need to be repaid. At Merrimack, students do not have to apply separately for financial aid.

    1) Merit and Athletic Scholarships:

    Choral

    Family

    If two children from the same family are enrolled at Merrimack College in a full-time, undergraduate day degree program, each child is entitled to a 10 percent reduction in tuition after institutional aid is applied. Three children receive a 13.3 percent reduction, and four children receive a 15 percent reduction after instituional aid is applied.Varies per familySiblings enrolled simultaneously in a full time undergraduate degree at Merrimack College.

    FIRST Robotics

    Awarded to a select number of high school seniors who have participated on a FIRST Robotics team. Awarded in addition to merit.

    $5,000To be considered, students will need to submit a FIRST application and major within the School of Science and Engineering.

    Honors

    Inspired by St. Augustine’s philosophy of teaching and learning, the Honors Scholarship is awarded to students selected into the Honors Program. Awarded in addition to merit.$1,500Top 20% of the freshman applicant pool who confirm their intent to participate in the Honors Program.

    Marching Band

    Awarded to talented musicians based upon musical ability who intend to participate in the marching band. Awarded as a comprehensive scholarship or in addition to merit.Varies per studentApplicants must indicate their interest on their application for admission or on the music interest form. Recipients are selected by the Director of Bands.

    Merrimack Achieves Collegiate Holistic Support Scholars (MACHS)

    Established through a prestigious National Science Foundation (NSF) grant and awarded to select high achieving students who show a strong passion and ambition for a future in their field but may have financial barriers. Awarded in addition to merit.$8,100Eligible students will need to major within the School of Science and Engineering and demonstrate significant financial need. Students will be notified and invited to submit an application.
