    LPU offers 5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defense Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants. BSc Hons (Agriculture) at LPU is approved by ICAR.The dedicated faculty of LPU givThe LPU is the first private university to get ICAR approval. The LPU agriculture programme is designed with a target of holistic development of students.     , whatever the programme you pursue in LPU all are excellent and have bright future .
    BSc in Agriculture is a broad-based program with great possibilities for achievement. It manages with things like horticulture, food production, rural economy, animal rearing, environmental health, and rural development, etc. Other industries may face recession and downsizing but the agriculture industry can never fall prey because the major reason for this is food is the basic necessity for life.     LPU provides 5% relaxation to North-East states candidates in eligibility as eligibility for usual candidates is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. For North-east students, it is 55%.
    LPU provides very generous scholarships as LPU believes that monetary shortcomings should not be a constraint for a deserving student. So they provide a lot of scholarships for every program and also LPU believes in holistic development so they provide scholarships to people with extraordinary talents like sports and culture.

    I am an alumni of LPU and know this for a fact that northeast students get any benefit in terms of eligibility and School of Agriculture is among Punjab and Indias Best Agriculture colleges. It lays thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields. The university has well-equipped Laboratories, Library, lecture rooms, and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments.LPU is First private University in India which is approved by ICAR.

    Candidates from the North-East states are eligible for a 5% exemption in the eligibility, as long as they pass with 60 percent aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, and pass the LPUNEST. It is 55% for students in the northeast.LPU offers exceptionally significant scholarships because it thinks that financial constraints should not limit a deserving student.     LPU is the first private university that got the approval of ICAR. It is spread over 600+ acres of campus and 1200+ acres of Agricultural land. Yes, students from North-East states get benefits in terms of eligibility in the B.Sc Hons programme. Let me share eligibility criteria for the same.
