Does northeast students get any benefit in terms of eligibility in bsc hons agriculture programme offered by LPU in 2021 admission session?

One of my friend is pursuing this course from LPU- The eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. Hi, Nikki The following are the eligibility requirements for the aforementioned program: &quot;Passing with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English*, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths or Biology or Forestry) and qualifying for the LPUNEST&quot; If you have a lower percentage than the required one, then 5% relaxation in eligibility is given to North-East states and Sikkim candidates, or to defence personnel and their dependents or wards of Kashmiri migrants. Hi ,Yes indeed they do and let me share with you the eligibility criteria.LPU's School of Agriculture is accredited by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).The eligibility criteria for BSc Hons agriculture includes 60% in 10+2/Intermediate with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Forestry + LPUNEST or 60% in 10+2/Intermediate 10+2 (Agriculture) + LPUNEST OR 60% in 2 year Diploma(Agriculture) after 10th + LPUNEST Age Condition :- Minimum 16 Years (i.e. born on or before last date of admission) . 5% to North East states and Sikkim candidates / Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.Scholarship is awarded to the candidates on the basis of Percentage in qualifying exam or Scholarship on the basis of LPUNEST or Scholarship on the basis of JEE Mains/NEET or Special scholarship for toppers of education board or Financial Aid for Serving/ Retired Defence/ CAPF/ Para- Military Personnel and their Dependents. The last date to apply is 31 May 2021 post that the fee structure of the scholarship criteria may change.

Yes, students from North-East states get benefits in terms of eligibility in the B.Sc Hons programme. Let me share eligibility criteria for the same. Eligibility Criteria: Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement.
