LPU provides 5% relaxation to North-East states candidates in eligibility as eligibility for usual candidates is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. For North-east students, it is 55%. LPU provides very generous scholarships as LPU believes that monetary shortcomings should not be a constraint for a deserving student. So they provide a lot of scholarships for every program and also LPU believes in holistic development so they provide scholarships to people with extraordinary talents like sports and culture.

Hi ,Yes indeed they do and let me share with you the eligibility criteria.LPU's School of Agriculture is accredited by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).The eligibility criteria for BSc Hons agriculture includes 60% in 10+2/Intermediate with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Forestry + LPUNEST or 60% in 10+2/Intermediate 10+2 (Agriculture) + LPUNEST OR 60% in 2 year Diploma(Agriculture) after 10th + LPUNEST Age Condition :- Minimum 16 Years (i.e. born on or before last date of admission) . 5% to North East states and Sikkim candidates / Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.Scholarship is awarded to the candidates on the basis of Percentage in qualifying exam or Scholarship on the basis of LPUNEST or Scholarship on the basis of JEE Mains/NEET or Special scholarship for toppers of education board or Financial Aid for Serving/ Retired Defence/ CAPF/ Para- Military Personnel and their Dependents. The last date to apply is 31 May 2021 post that the fee structure of the scholarship criteria may change.

Dear Nikki, LPU is the first private university that got the approval of ICAR. It is spread over 600+ acres of campus and 1200+ acres of Agricultural land. Yes, students from North-East states get benefits in terms of eligibility in the B.Sc Hons programme. Let me share eligibility criteria for the same. Eligibility Criteria: Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.
