Does the AMU Entrance Exam have negative marking?

Yes, the Aligarh Muslim University exam has a negative marking for the engineering programme. One mark will be given for the correct answer and For an incorrect answer, 0.25 or 1/4 marks will be deducted. AMU Entrance exam will be conducted via computer-based mode. The questions will be asked in the Multiple choice questions format. There will be a total of 100 questions in the examination. As per the marking scheme, five marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will get deducted for each wrong answer. One mark will be given for every correct answer and in case of Negative Marking, for every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
