    Yes, Delhi University (DU) allows students to take subjects outside of their 12th stream for CUET (Common University Entrance Test), but with conditions as follows:

     *Rules for Choosing Subjects in CUET for DU Admissions*  
    1. *Preferred Subject Matching: DU suggests that you pick subjects in CUET that you have studied in *Class 12th* for better eligibility.".
    2. Stream change: You get into CUET in a stream that wasn't even studied in the 12th. No problems whatsoever:
    The scores will still face *cut offs based on courses*
