Current assessment methods need to be looked after and needs some improvement. As pen-paper based method can't be replicated with the same discipline in online exams. Even typing such lengthy questions and calculations is not at all possible. One way schools can ponder upon, MCQ based assessment and story based assessment. Even asking students to come to any center even in the near vicinity can be avoided and ask them to take exams from home. Something like open-book exams methodology will be more effective in such cases. For this, even teachers need to put some extra effort. Many B-schools currently follow this type of exam pattern. T

Under these types of situation, I will suspend all the college activities because safety of students is the first priority. I would also consider no loss of academic, I will organise some skill development programmes for students like some course for every branch and after completing these courses students will get some reward points after testing of skills and that will be considered for the grading of semester. I will organise some classes related to academics by professors as well as best mentors so that students get motivated. I will also organize some motivational sessions and some gaming activities with rewards which will also be

I will organize various e-learning platforms for students according to their interests. As all academic activities regarding exams are pending and no evaluation done. Students should be evaluated on the basis of their developed skills' assessment and projects.

I will definitely take advantage of the situation and opportunities offered by the circumstances. I will take stock of the digital facilities available in the premises and try to add on say video recording studio, audio recording studio, etc. In addition, will create digital library that could be utilised by both the students and teachers community. I will urge the concerned university to enable students to take on MOOC's. Massive Open Online Courses. Online courses on different variety of courses, skills, sports etc. Another important aspect will be to enable infrastructure for online conduct of exams so that system is transparent and

Regarding online exams, teachers/professors cannot moderate each and every student in online exams. As everybody is at home, there is less scope of everything to go clean and fair. Schools need to switch to Multiple Choice Questions and project based assessments with some time limits. Instead of learning from books and writing the same in exams ("Ratta-Maar" pedagogy) focus should be towards applying concepts. Case based questions need to be given. For this not only students but teachers need to scratch their heads. If we are looking for online exams than old paper-pen pattern is not at all useful, instead open - book sort of pattern w

I will ask subscribing to Coursera to all my students which will lead to learning over internet and arranging holistic approach for online classes. Ask the faculty members to speak to students to understand their problem and regular updates over mails about the progress.

In the area of placements and internships, we can make use of socializing tools like WhatsApp or Facebook. Here, we can make groups and also get representative of hiring organisations. We can get the resumes/bios through mails. We can conduct skype interviews and we will approach organisations which are ready to offer Work-From-Home internships. Same thing applies for placements as well. Using digital tools for interaction between students and recruiters will be the priority. School professors/teachers can act as moderators in such audio/video calls. We have to switch to digital platforms as it is very time saving and fast.
    Thanks.

As I think, making the teachers to take online classes with present situation is difficult because some are there in remote areas so they will not get good network and for students also the situation is same. So it would be better if the classes are available in recorded videos. It's not even necessary to teach all the lessons. If I am in charge of a school, I will make the sessions in such a manner that students would learn about the topics from specialized teachers in the form of videos. So it is better I think.
    Thank you.
    Regards, Ranjith AV.
