For which branch am I eligible to apply for UGC NET? I have done B.Tech in mechanical engineering and ME in chemical engineering.

    You can take the NET only in the subject of your post-graduation. In your case, that would be chemical engineering. Please go to http://www.cbsenet.nic.in and download and read the information bulletin for more information.
