i want to be a teacher.so which course or degree i wud choose

Hi, for becoming a teacher you need to clear B.ed. You are eligible to apply for B.Ed after your graduation degree. The eligibility criteria for B.Ed is that you should have minimum of 45% marks in your qualifying exam, and you should be at least 19 years of age (most universities do not have a maximum age limit). Admission criteria to B.Ed courses varies, however most universities admit candidates based on a Common Entrance Test. If you are interested in teaching Secondary and Senior Secondary classes, then you might also want to get a post graduate degree either before or after the B.Ed. All the Best!

Hi Raveena, You have not given any information about your educational qualification and the level of study you want to pursue further however as you are interested to become a teacher then you may opt for Bachelor of Education if you are done with your 12th and if you have done your bachelors in education or related field then you may look for Master of Education. You would require IELTS score of 7.0 bands along with you academics. If you have any query please write back.
