    HI,This is field are very different from another field in MBA.This is field are better for make career such that MBA Professional are the most wanted people these days. Rural management really needs people as we know urs is an agricultural based economy of it needs educated and literate people to handle such affairs. A boom is expected in near future so these professional can expect a good salary ahead.

    there are companies like Pepsico, ITC, Coca Cola, etc. who work in FMCG sector which are related to Food products hire agrimanagement people in departments like procurement, contract farming etc. apart from this NGO's also work in agrimanagement. Thus, the scope of Agri-management is not limited TO NGO's bt also to the corporates, MNC's.
    The average package is 3.5 to 4l p/a and it can go upto 6-7 lakh, bt it all depends on the performance of the student. And KIIT has a record of 100% placement frm the last 3 yrs since its inception.
    Admissions are now open for two-year MBA (Agribusiness Management) programme from 2012-13 academic section

    Hi! the main work for a rural management professional is planning systematic development of the region where one is working. Their responsibilities are to collect necessary data on topics like illiteracy rate, nourishment rate, development of women and social relevant information. These data are then classified into broader heads and many plans done accordingly. A scope of rural development/ management area is very good.
