WHETHER SYMBIOSIS PGDBA AND MBA DEGREE HAVE SAME VALUE OR NOT??PLZ RPLY ASAP
I WANT TO KNOW WHETHER "SYMBIOSIS PGDBA" IS EQUAL TO "MBA DEGREE" OR NOT..??? GIVE ANSWER IN DETAIL ......WHETHER PGDBA AND MBA DEGREE HAVE SAME VALUE OR NOT...??? GIVE ANSWER ASAP.......REPLYY

In india two types of post graduate degrees in management is given. One is normal MBA which everyone is aware of and the other PGDM or PGDBA ( POST GRADUATION DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT OR BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ). MBA degree is mostly given by universities and the colleges affiliated to them. Whereas PGDM or PGDBA are self financing courses run by autonomous insititutes. Both MBA, PGDM and PGDBA are AICTE and UGC approved. Hence, I suggest you to go ahead and pursue PGDBA from Symbiosis. -
Yes PGDBA is equivalent to MBA. MBA and PGDM are both business orientated courses. The main aim of the courses is to equip a person who wants to move up in the hierarchy and enter in to the management field. MBA only provides degree to institutes associated to a university, while PGDM is not affiliated to any university and has its own syllabus. MBA is offered by universities and colleges affiliated to universities whereas an independent institution offer PGDM. -
pgdba stands for post graduate diploma in business mgt so as the name suggest its just a diploma not equal to mba which is a degree.
