A career in physiotherapy can lead to a variety of interesting and challenging jobs in the health care system. Physiotherapists get specialisations in the areas such as paediatrics, geriatrics, neurology, cardiorespiratory, and orthopaedics. Physiotherapists can also obtain a doctorate degree and become involved in research. Physiotherapists that demonstrate a high level of skill, knowledge and competence in their work may find many opportunities for growth, such as moving into supervisory or management positions, teaching positions, or they may decide to open their own physiotherapy clinic or service. There are many universities which offer this course, but as per my experience, I would suggest LPU as one of the best option. My brother is pursuing this course from LPU. LPU BPT is approved by IAP ( Indian Association of Physiotherapy), moreover LPU has its own hospital in which you can have practical knowledge of the same. This builds up the confidence of the student and make them more familiar with their work. LPU also has a good placement cell of this department which is not at all fake. Students can attain positions in sports training centres, health and fitness centres, hospitals, physiotherapy &amp; rehabilitation centres, spastic societies and special schools. Opportunities also include pursuing higher studies in reputed universities in India and abroad. Students can also avail jobs in health insurance and medical coding companies. Hello, I remember a day during my college life at LPU, just after my evening nap the moment I woke up, I had some cramp in my neck and I was shouting and crying like anything. That day one of my roommate who was a part of physiotherapy course at LPU, helped me, took me to the University Hospital same moment and treated me immediately and I was relieved within in hours. That day I actually experienced the learning done by Physiotherapy students. After that I enquired in detail about the course at LPU and I must say, that LPU has the edge over any other university. LPU is ranked among Top 30 Best Universities by NIRF Ranking 2020.
