How are placements in LPU for fashion designing?

Lovely Professional University is regarded as one of the Best Design colleges in India and Punjab, LPU School of Design offers its students cutting-edge labs and equipment to simulate the industry environment with practical exposure to fashion industry right from designing to merchandising. I did MBA from LPU and LPU is helping me grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support but I had one roommate from fashion designing department. She was pursuing B. Design fashion. She has discussed few things which I am sharing with you:- LPU provides a good platform for placements for all streams and programs. LPU has a separate dept which looks after placement opportunities. Apart from that, each school has its own placement coordinator who is responsible and actively works for not only calling companies to the campus, but also for preparing students for placements by giving them proper training. LPU students have been placed in well reputed national as well as international clothing brand like H & M, acquiring 14 Lacs + per annum pay package. Genesis, a premium brand under Reliance Retail selected 6 students at an average pay package of 4 lac Per annum. SatyaPaul selected 4 students @ the average package of 4 lac Per annum. Satya Paul is India's premier designer label with an International presence. Marks & Spencer one of the leading global brand selected 5 students of graduation and post graduation @ 4.5 Lacs p. a. during campus placement drive. Prominent brands like Coach, Genesis, Michael Kors, Armani Exchange, Diesel, Kate Spade, Steve Madden selected LPU students. The School of Fashion Designing of Lovely Professional University is doing extraordinary works in the field of Designing. They are conducting Fashion Shows regularly for the students. It gives a great chance to the students to show their talent in front of a big audience. Prominent designers are also taking part in the events. So, surely it is a big opportunity university is providing to the students in LPU. The infrastructure for the practical works is very excellent in the university. Students can enjoy the course curriculum which has given more importance to practical knowledge. Scholarships have one other significance. Students can avail scholarships based on their score in the qualifying exam or according to their performance in the University test. Anyhow you can enjoy the campus and course here and can excel in the field once you are completing the course. Placement depends upon the students skills and professional attitude. At LPU I SEE good state of the art modern Fashion Designing labs, which really helps to give real practical knowledge to the students which ultimately helps to get placements. 2 of my friends students of lovely professional university got jobs in reputed apparel companies.
