How are the hostels of LPU?

LPU has safe and secure residential facility. It is separate for boys and girls. No ragging is allowed in the university including hostels. If anyone is found involved in it, s/he is severely reprimanded. The roommate can be a batch-mate or a senior. Roommates are always friendly and cordial, rest depends upon how you treat them. There is zero tolerance to ragging, alcohol, smoking, drugs and disciplinary misconduct. Turnstile gates with biometric machines for entry and exit. In-House laundry facilities available at nominal charges, Mess food available in every hostel that provides good quality and hygienic food. Rooms with attached washroom, air cooler/air conditioner facility,24 hours power supply, geyser in each room, internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system. Students can opt for 4 seater, 3 seater, 2 seater etc. According to their conveyance and requirements. All the best. -
LPU hostels are vast with remarkable facilities also various accommodations options are available which can be opted as per the preference of individual. When it comes to safety and security I recommend Hostel. Being part of LPU, during my study period I was a hostler (while writing about my hostel life at LPU I am feeling nostalgic). In LPU, there will be no ragging. Complete hostel environment will be student friendly. One can enjoy a lot. Even non - veg is not allowed into LPU campus. -
That is surely unpredictable. There are around 14 thousands boys hostelers from almost all parts of the country. Though, there are lots of students from south India mostly Andhra Pradesh and Telangana so assuming, you'll get them only ( I had two southees in first year). They are not much towards studies (though few are so much ). They are not passionate and restricted to what is teache to them. They are though very cooperative and kind heart and do not interfere in your work. Feel free to ask anything else. -
