The Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NSNIS), Patiala, has a pretty active placement in which graduates can secure placements for jobs in coaching and allied fields such as schools, colleges, and sports organizations. Diploma students of 23 sports disciplines can avail of placement for courses. Internships last around two months and form an integral part of these programs.

While specific salary packages aren't given priority in the status quo, opportunities are largely based on the candidate's skills and certification, along with the hiring institution's type, i.e., schools or universities.

The cutoff marks may vary for NSNIS, depending upon the specific course and applicants. For instance, to get into the Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine programme through NEET PG in 2024, the rank for the General category was as high as 37,707.

You should check the specific cutoff marks for the current year and the course you are interested in. You can get this information from the official NSNIS website or by contacting their admissions office directly.
