This department gets approximately 80% of the placements. Companies like root analysis, GSK, Cipla, nestle often come to the campus to recruit students. The average packages range from 2.5-6 LPA. Though it's not fixed and go up higher than this. I too got placed via their placement sessions. On an average 20-25 companies come every year on a minimum basis. LPU has high-tech labs equipped with instruments like laminar airflow, autoclave, centrifuges, and biosafety cabinets. The labs are further categorized in different sections based on their working conditionsvarious other related fields like animal biotechnology, plant biotechnology, enzyme biotechnology, and industrial biotechnology.
