Both are reputable universities. LPU has always created its distinctive course pedagogy based only on industry standards.
CSE coursework at LPU is excellent. One of the LPU branches with excellent placements is CSE. Few of their pupils choose to pursue higher education; the majority of them are hired by reputable organisations. Students receive special input in the form of placement classes to develop their abilities and get ready for placements.
I have found that LPU is the greatest university to attend since it places a strong emphasis on the complete development of its students. Being a graduate of LPU, I would choose LPU above other

But LPU teaches you how to be an Entrepreneur , Also, LPUs placement is one of the best in entire India. More than 600 companies visited the Campus, High Profile company officials like CEO , MDS etc are interacting and sharing their experiences with LPU students which helps them to stay ahead in the competition. The placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities, as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records.
The recent highest package in CSE was INR 42 lakh per annum offered by Microsoft.
So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.

If you are seeking for admission in an engineering college, then I would like to suggest SRM, as the first preference. It is the best option in every context, whether it is the environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else. LPU is also a good college, but if we compare it with SRM, then SRM is better. Now, it is up to you. Good luck.

    Hello Vaibhav,
As I have closely watched the growth and success of certain Private Universities specially LPU I would like to put over here certain important points to highlight the advantages of studying at private Universities:
    a. Private Universities follow a rigorous selection process for the recruitment of the faculty hence providing the best possible faculty available to the students.
    b. These Universities put a lot of emphasis on the placements of the students and are highly oriented to ensure the placements of students to attract more students for admissions.

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Seat allotment during the LPU NEST counselling effectively takes place based on your merit (exam) rank, as well as the preferences you fill to course/specialisations while you log in to the portal for admissions after your results are out. After you log in to the counselling portal after the results go out, you need to honestly fill your choices of course/specialization. LPU will then look for which rank you are in the merit list, check availabilities, and allocate seats accordingly based on your previously chosen course/specialization seats and rank. The seat allotment process of counseling purely works on merit, so the students who s
