Hello !! being an alumni of LPU . I would like to share some data regarding placements.
LPU is having outstanding Placements record for the students. As every year not only national companies but also international ones are also hiring the LPU students for instance Amazon offers 30 lakh package per annum. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Aspiring Minds have ranked LPU as having Most Employable Students in consecutively twice in a row for previous academics sessions. ASSOCHAM (Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India) rated LPU as Best Private University with regards to placements. Zee News Survey rated us as 11th Best in India in Placements. Being alumni of LPU, I can share the placements details of the CSE programme at LPU. Many of my friends got placed from the CSE during the third year in different MNCs such as Cognizant, Amazon, Leadsquared, etc.
LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills. From Google to Microsoft to Apple, Computer Science students of LPU are working with hundreds of leading IT giants of the world. CSE/IT students secured salary package of up to Rs 27.5 LPA and placement opportunities from companies like Amazon, Adobe, Bosch Engineering, VMware, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Kony India, SAP Labs, Schneider Electric India, HP India, LG Soft India, ITC Infotech, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, KPIT, Morgan Stanley, Drishti Soft Solutions, etc.
Placements equally depend upon student as on university or college, but at LPU students are trained so well, that cracking any interview is a cakewalk.
LPU receives the highest and the most quality placements from CSE itself. LPU has networks and tie-ups with the leading techno corporate tycoons industry leaders (few being the alumni of LPU) which visit every year to grasp the talent of the most diverse platform of the era. LPU is the best. In LPU, the placement preparation is started from the very first year. Students are being given placement-oriented classes and even company-specific input also. Thousands of LPU students have got placed in top MNCs and are working all over the Globe. The Highest Package Availed by Engineering (CSE) Student Ms. Tanya Arora is 42 LPA for batch 2020 by Microsoft. Students are placed in WorkIndia at 35 LPA; CLOUDERA at 31 LPA; AMAZON at a package of 30 LPA. An average package ranges from 5-10 LPA. LPU CSE placement is best. In my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and has practical exposure, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews.
Amazon offers 3 students a record Rs. 28 lakh package + 28 students offered internships! For Cognizant, LPU has been the destination to pick market ready workforce as it has selected 1800 plus engineering students over the years. LPU is an axis for Joint campus placement drives.
