How are the placements in LPU?

Being an alumni of Lovely Professional University I would like share my experience in Lovely Professional university. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. Actually Salary package depends on factors like specialisation, Institute, Company offering job, students academic performance, work experience etc. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes from first year onward, it may be Soft-Skills, G. D, presentations, Extempores, Technical Interviews, Personal Interviews. To make the students to crack their dream companies Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. And this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 650 placement/internship drives have been conducted till February 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs). Lovely Professional University provides placement opportunities to all the deserving candidates, from all courses. It's up to the student's capability to be able to grab the opportunity or not. Till now thousand of students are placed at a very good package all around the world. Some of the alumni are working in the top 10 brands in the world. Recently, Tania Arora, a fourth-year B.Tech CSE student of Lovely Professional University (LPU) got selected as a software engineer in Microsoft with a huge salary package of Rs 42 Lacs per annum. A final year student of M.Sc. Agriculture (Agronomy) has bagged a package of Rs. 1 crore. The package has been offered by Monsanto, A lot of students have successfully started their own ventures as entrepreneurs. The university has its own start up school which promotes start ups in collaboration with startup India programme. You can SEE that the university puts in every effort to bring the best companies for campus recruitment, but it is only up to the student to make the most of these opportunities. Honestly, it is all about making the best use of resources around and from concept building to placement training to campus placements, there is nothing that the college does not offer.

LPU is one of the best universities in India. It is a UGC-approved university which has been ranked well by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its faculty, its placements, its teaching practices, etc. The work culture, work ethics, the environment for students, teaching pedagogy, industry ready curriculum and many more, all of these are highlights of LPU. The kind of exposure the students get here is simply remarkable. Top notch brands visit LPU for the placements. Abundant opportunities for the students besides academics to improve their overall personality and skill set. Hi, The LPU placements are fantastic. Many top recruiters like Amazon, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Trident Group, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and other companies visit the LPU campus to hire graduates. Recently, a girl has been placed in a 42 LPA, and Amazon has also hired LPU students with 30.3 LPAs. Every year the number of companies visiting LPU increases and till date, 650+ companies have recruited LPU students. LPU has the highest placement record in North India. Thanks.

Dear Sourabh Goel, The placements at LPU are very good. Being alumni of LPU, I will provide you with the complete details of the placement. I would say that LPU is better in terms of placements. In fact, LPU created a new record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. Besides, other record-breaking placements for LPU includes: the highest Placement (Engineering) Rs. 42 Lacs per annum (Microsoft) the highest Placement (Management) Rs. 21 Lacs per annum (SOBHA Developers) the highest Placement (Design) Rs. 36.5 Lacs per annum (SIXT India) Amazon recruited LPU students on a package of 28 LPA The highest internship stipend is up to 80k per month. (which is really hard to get in other universities) The reason why LPU has better placement records than other universities is because of its unique career cell. It enables students in getting relevant work experience to complement their studies and develop appropriate skills and knowledge. Resume writing, aptitude development workshops among other activities are hosted for the overall development of students and prepare them to crack the interviews easily.
