IIT-Roorkee is one of the well-reputed institutions in India and is one of the old IITs. So, it attracts a lot of good companies for placements and the statistics are pretty good as such.
For engineering physics, you need to understand that most of the people join it for research purpose (they generally opt for higher studies) rather than placements.
For the year 2016-17, 33% of the total students from engineering physics were placed.

7 years agoIIT Roorkee is almost good for placement among IIT but could be placed on no.1 if you see it removing IITs means among all private or government engineering college. -

Placement are decent for Engineering Physics and average for electrical, civil and mechanical branches. All top companies like google, Microsoft, amazon, Mahindra & Mahindra, TATA Motors, Honda visit the college campus. There some universities and college also recruit for the teaching field.
