How are the placements of BE in CSE from Sathyabama University?

It's too good, almost 250 companies visit the campus. And we also have 95% percent placement. Now, you will ask me what happened to the remaining 5% students. In this 5%, 3% of the students went abroad for higher studies and the remaining 2% would be the people who are technically weak. Okay, now let's talk about the placements, first, the bulk recruiters will come ( CTS, TCS and Infosys). These companies will recruit a huge amount of people, it will be up to 1K or 2K. These companies will offer a salary of 3 LPA. Then the dream company will come for the placement. These companies will select a limited amount of people up to 500 and they will offer a salary of 6 to 8 LPA. Then the super dream company will come they will select only limited students. They will offer you a salary, 32 to 50 LPA. Bulk recruiters: CTS, TCS and Infosys. Dream company: HP and Dell. Super dream company: Google, Microsoft, Uber, etc. thanks for reading, Jawahar

Sathyabama University is one of the best engineering colleges of Chennai. It is ranked 59 in the list of top engineering colleges of India. It is well known for its infrastructure, faculties with knowledge and much appreciated experience and facilities like labs with equipment and machines. There are many companies that come for placement of computer science engineering students in Satyabhama University and they are as follows Alstom | Aricent | Asian Paints | Capgemini | Cognizant | Infosys | Oracle | RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) | Tech Mahindra | Wipro Companies like Infosys, CTS, TCS are visiting our campus and they are mass recruiters which recruit most of the students. An average package of 3.5 to 4 lakhs can be expected. Also, big companies like Amazon, Flipkart, etc. are visiting. 80% of students of computer science engineering are placed in placements The placement cell of Satyabhama University are providing Placement Aptitude Training (PAT) to the students to help them to earn better jobs at placement. Computer science engineering is amongst the best course of engineering in terms of training, education, placements, research and further studies. Sathyabama University is good University for technical education and training. The placements at Sathyabama University of computer science engineering are really very good. The placement ratio is almost 70% placement. The average package is around 4 to 5 LPA. CSE is amongst evergreen fields, the placements in this branch will increase with good amount of packages. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, L&T, Wipro, etc. take students from here. This all credit goes to Training and Placement Cell Department of Sathyabama University. So it is really good to do computer science engineering from a reputed institute or university if someone is really interested in this. So the placement ratio at Sathyabama University is almost 70 %. Since this Branch has very scopes of Placements, placements of this Branch will increase in upcoming years due to opening of many IT companies in India.

Sathyabama University which is one of the best engineering institutes in Tamil Nadu. Placement is average in this college. The placement office here will provide you with more than enough opportunity to get placed in. It is all up to you as how you go for it. Around 50-60 companies visited till now. Average placements package in Sathyabama is 3.2 LPA and placement percentage is around 70% in 2016. Since 2010, average salary offered in campus selection is 3 LPA by different companies but never higher than 15 LPA and the student who scored more than 70% in their B.Tech overall will get the placement easily. Major companies which came for the placements are: Wipro, HCL, Infosys, ICICI, Capgemini, Hexaware, Patni, Logica, Mphasis, US Technologies, Cognizant, Accenture, Snapdeal, Mindtree, SL Lumax, IGate, RBS, Cybage, IBM and Qualcomm. My friend which happens to be in computer science branch of Sathyabama University in the third year recently told me about how the placement report at Sathyabama University for the year 2016 was: Only 65% of the batch got placed while almost 70% of the students who registered for a placement ended up in a reputable mass recruiter MNCs like TCS, Wipro and many others. Being at Sathyabama when can I expect an average placement of 3.4 lacs for computer science branch which is below average for a college having a strategic advantage of being located in Chennai. The training and placement cell is rather inactive or passive as it is neither able to attract core companies nor do they train their students properly for getting through placement interviews, forget any help during off-campus placements. So you have to be on your own during your placements. So I would not suggest you to join the college unless this is your last option that you have to resort to. I hope this answer helps. Good luck!
