<p>To apply for B.E. in Civil Engineering at Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, candidates must have passed the second PUC or equivalent exam with eligibility as notified by the government of Karnataka. They must obtain an eligibility certificate from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, if they have passed a qualifying examination other than the PUC II examination.
