    Hi,
    To apply for a job of cartoonist the employees prefer a person who has a Bachelor degree in fine arts with subjects like drawings painting etc. also for better prospects you can pursue Master's degree also. To be a cartoonist you must be creative, you should be good at sketching and drawing. You should be able to express news or stories though your cartoons well what work you will do depend on what kind of cartoonist you want to become. Cartoonists' works are published in newspaper, magazines, novels, etc.

    Cartoonist is the one who creates various unique and fresh images for comic books, greeting cards, comic strips, graphic novels or product packaging. As a cartoonist, you can be a little dramatic, a bit silly or political in nature, depending upon the desired outcome. You regularly have a limited amount of space to display your art and are tasked with making a design that will help sell a product, further a brand's uniqueness with its target demographic, or just be entertaining, fascinating, or provocative.

    To be a cartoonist, first of all, one needs to have the imaginative skills or have the idea what you're going to illustrate. You have to take a Bachelor's degree in fine arts, after the graduation on fine arts you'll be able to opt for cartoonist job, but if you want to do higher study in that, you may go for Masters in fine arts as well, after the graduation. Apart from the degree courses, there are many institutions which serve Diploma courses in this as well.
