    You are required to have a strong knowledge of it. A habit of regular newspaper reading and magazine reading will be a great advantage.     Preparation can be of three types: self, self plus coaching, coaching.
    It depends on whether you are a working professional or a student. So, if you are working you have to prepare either by self-using the correspondence booklets or you can take the option of taking weekend coaching classes.     TISSNET preparation tips:
    Make your plan according to the time you can give for the preparation on a daily basis.
    Work on your plan and identify your weakness and strength.
    Try to plan and identify above stated things within a week. Set your plan agile and keep buffer time for revision and solving mock test papers.
    Start with your verbal and quantitative practice in parallel. A year can change the game.
    Keep positive! Solve questions in a specified time frame this will help you in doing questions in time. Maintain a good balance between your accuracy and solving time.

    The practice can be divided into three categories: concept driven, practice oriented and General awareness oriented. For concept driven areas like mathematics and some areas of English proficiency brushing up the fundamentals is definitely needed to increase your competence. Logical reasoning and verbal reasoning need a lot of practice so practicing good number of similar questions is needed to gain the desired level of comfort in those areas.
