    For getting admissions in LL.B. You need to give the entrance exam of law which is CLAT. I'll share with you the important dates for this and colleges where you can apply as well for this course:
    These are all the important dates for CLAT Exam:
    Registration Start date November 2016
    Registration End date December 2016
    Admit Card download date January 2017
    CMAT Exam Date January 2017
    CMAT Result declaration January 2017
    Print out of Score Cards January 2017
    You can plan your dates accordingly and apply to the colleges which are well recognized for their degree in law:
    NLSIU, Bangalore
    NALSAR, Hyderabad

    Hello,
    I would suggest you Lovely Professional University as one the best option for Law in Punjab. LPU offers more than 250 programmes where Law is one among them. Eligibility for admission is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. There is no Entrance Exam for admission in batch 2020.     There are many institutes who offer LL.B. But I will advice you to pursue LL.B. Which is BCI approved. LPU is the private university whose LL.B. Is BCI approved. The eligibility is:
    Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Graduation (any stream) or equivalent. Relaxation:
    1. (5% relaxation for SC/ST Applicants and 3% relaxation for OBC applicants).
    2. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants)
    3. (5% relaxation to outstanding Sports Persons (I. e. A/A+ category as per Sports Scholarship), Subject to verification from Selection committee* of the University)

    Basically it depends upon which Law course you are willing to opt. There are 2 criteria in India to get into law
    1st - after passing 12th you give CLAT and according to the score you will get the college and here you are opting integrated course of 5 years.
    2nd - after doing graduation you may go for law i.e. 3 years law degree. You have to give separate exams of all the University which are offering law and you may also get admission directly by fulfilling the criteria of the private colleges.

    To get an admission in a law college you first need to look at which type of college to want to pursue your degree in. If you have desire to go to an National Law university then entrance exam like CLAT has to be cleared. Some of the colleges have started entrance exam like MH-CET while some private colleges have their own self assessment mode of examination. It depends on the type of college you are looking for to get into.
