How can I get admission in Lovely Professional University?

Due to the current situation I. e. COVID-19, admissions 2020 is being done online. Depending on the eligibility, there is direct admission to some courses and in some its mandatory to qualify the LPU NEST exam and in some, LPU NEST exam + Interview. There are courses 200+ programme like engineering, Honours programme whose eligibility in the qualifying exam is 60%, some, it is 55% and for others, it is 50%. Moreover, LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPU NEST Sports, Defence, COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship you will get is the maximum one. The best thing is if you get the scholarship, the tuition fees after getting a scholarship will be applicable every semester.

In order to take admission in LPU you need to appear for LPU NEST exam. The test is an objective test and the structure of the test depends upon the course that you are intending to take admission. LPU NEST exam time also depends upon the course that you wish to take admission. For B.Tech courses even the previous year sample test can be downloaded from the LPU website. In order to apply the candidate needs to visit LPU website and apply and according has to book a slot. LPU NEST will be conducted online while the candidate is sitting at home in a proctored mode. Application fee for LPU NEST is INR 1000 for boys and INR 500 for girls. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1. Scholarship: Eligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification: The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. For example, on the basis of performance in 10+2 for Undergraduate Programmes and Graduation for Postgraduate Programmes LPUNEST: (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test) Certain National Level Tests (like JEE Main NEET UCEED CAT MAT GATE GPAT etc. ) Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards Scholarships/ Fee Benefits for Ph.D. Scholarship Scheme for Toppers of School Education Boards 2. Hello Althaf, Hello, As per the current scenario of Lockdown and covid 19, you can take admission to LPU by going to their website even though I took admission with the online mode in 2019 even at that time I had more options like out campus admission offices and in-campus admission. Go to the LPU website, Choose your course but yes check the eligibility carefully then follow the steps which will be given on the interface Best of Luck !

Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, first of all decide the programme that you want to join and check its Eligibility criteria for Admission. LPU conducts LPU NEST for all the programmes. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. For most of the programmes, it serves both the purposes. As per the official website of LPU, the Schedule for LPU NEST has been started for all the programmes for this current session I. e 2021. Hi Althaf, you just have to either register yourself at LPU website or call UPAT the toll free numbers. The admission counselors will help you in each case in getting you the process of admission done. You could always come to campus but in the wake of pandemic it is advisable to stay indoors and compete all processes online.

Well, you have chosen a university which is one of the best private universities in the country, let me help you with how to apply for it. As far as I remember when I applied for admission to LPU, I applied by their website. And mostly cities LPU has its own admission office. My city has too. Hence I went to their admission counseling office. I went there for admission and inquiry. You can do the same or else you can apply online by going on the LPU website. Basically, everything is mentioned on their website. Check about your course eligibility, scholarships, fees everything. And you can call LPU for more details. Or cheery on top will be when you yourself visit the campus and witness the beauty of the LPU campus and apply from there. Whatever suits you best. In the end, there are several options to apply. Whichever suits apply soon. As far as I know, admission is closing soon. So check quickly. I hope this helps. All the best for your new beginnings.
