Hi there, in most of the B Tech programs, LPU NEST is mandatory. You need to appear for LPU NEST. However, your score is good you can get scholarship on the basis of your CBSE score. In case your LPU NEST score is greater than the class 12 score, you will get scholarship on the basis of score whichever is the highest. Good Luck.

The Lovely Professional University (LPU) has given you a direct admission to their B.Tech programme without having to attend the Lovely Professional University entrance exam (LPUNEST) because you have an above 90 percent mark in your CBSE non medical courses and passed in your PCM (Physics Chemistry Math).

So this is how LPU admission goes about your profile:

Minimum Eligibility: LPU needs a minimum of 60 percent in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to do B.Tech. At 91%, this requirement is easy.

Modes of Admission: LPU offers the B.Tech admission on the basis of any of the following:

If you have scored 91% in Class 12 (non-medical, CBSE), you can take admission in the B.Tech programme at Lovely Professional University (LPU) without appearing for LPUNEST by applying through JEE Main or the CUET exam, as LPU accepts both these national-level exams, besides LPUNEST, for admission. You must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics, and English with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. You are then to register online on the LPU admission site per your preferred mode of admission (JEE Main/CUET), go through counselling and interviews, and, if everything goes well, confirm the admission by paying the fee. Your 91% scor

You have got 91% in CBSE non-medical it means you can take direct admission on merit basis at LPU. The university gives this option in appreciation to students who perform well in boards. The merit can also provide good scholarship based on your percentage that reduces the overall fee. The university has intentionally made the system in favour of students so that they can take advantage of being good at studies and not miss opportunity. The LPU also offers fle
