The best way to start your career in HR is to get into recruitment. Consider joining a mid sized recruitment firm & get your hands dirty with everything to do with recruitment - Sourcing, screening, selling the job, client coordination. Do not settle for mediocrity in recruitment. Go that extra mile- be passionate, understand the unstated need of the candidate & the client, listen more, be empathetic. Create a brand for yourself. When you do this sooner or later, people around you will notice you.
