1- English Language: This section tests your basic knowledge of vocabulary, grammar, and verbal ability. One can expect questions from Reading Comprehension, Error Detection, Synonym, and Antonym, Fill in the blank, Sentence Correction, etc. To ace this section, you need to have a strong hold on the grammatical rules. To improve your vocabulary, read the editorial page of newspapers and world power by making it easy.
2- General Intelligence and Reasoning: It aims to test the problem-solving ability of a student. The simple way to prepare this section is to practice through sample papers and mock tests. Clocks, Coding-Decoding, Alphanumeric Series, Blood relations, Direction Sense, Embedded Figures, Order, and Ranking can be easily practiced through mocks. You need to be careful and pay a little extra attention to the puzzle.
3- General Awareness: This section contains questions from the current as well as static General knowledge. You need to be thorough with the current events of international and national importance. The best way to deal with this section is to go through the newspapers daily.
4- Quantitative Aptitude: This section aims to test the basic mathematical aptitude of candidates. The syllabus will be of Class 10th standard and will cover topics from Arithmetic such as Simple Interest (SI) and Compound Interest (CI), Time and Work, and Profit and loss. You will also find questions from Trigonometry, Algebra, Number Series, Data Interpretation, etc. Set your approach for the Quantitative Aptitude section. Stick to your basics and learn the shortcut methods of solving questions. Arithmetic questions might be calculative. So practice these questions more. For advanced maths, you can go for a standard book by Rajesh Verma. After clearing the concepts, start taking mock tests.
