It is not easy to get admission to Jai Hind College in Mumbai. The college follows the rules of the University of Mumbai, and for general category students, a minimum of 85% marks is required for admission, while in-house students need to score above 90%. The college offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in science, arts, and commerce, and it is known for its demanding and rigorous curriculum. The admission process is based on merit, and the college has a good placement record for its students.

There is only a minor difference in the admission process between BCom courses in the self financed and aided categories. For the aided category admissions, candidates need to prove that they are eligible under the criteria for aided programme admissions at Jai Hind College. This is done by providing additional documents for the same during the application process. The rest is the same between both categories.
