Intersted students apply through Harvard Griffin GSAS; in the online application, select “Engineering and Applied Sciences” as your programme choice and select "PhD Computer Science" in the Area of Study menu.

Applicants must have completed secondary education and obtained a high school Diploma or equivalent. Take Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), or honors courses in relevant subjects, such as math, physics, and computer science. Although Harvard has been test-optional recently, strong SAT or ACT scores can still enhance your application. Aim for scores in the 75th percentile or higher. Work on personal programming projects or contribute to open-source projects. Building a portfolio can showcase your skills.
