    IIMs are the best in the world. No B-schools abroad are nearer to the standards of Indian Institute of Management.
    IIM-A, B, C are very famous. When we look into the teaching methodology the practices followed by these institutions are as follows:
    1. Updating of course curriculum - The course curriculum or the knowledge imparted in IIMs is always new.
    2. Live industry interaction- Industry oriented training helps students gain more practical knowledge.
    3 Tie ups - Tie-ups with major companies is another important factor for the stability of IIMs.
    4 Faculties-National and international faculties are taking classes in IIMs.

    IIMs in India and other international business schools can be compared in the following areas:
    1. Research and development - Indian Institute of Management still needs to prove globally their research and development activities.
    2. Students are drawn from across the world with various given skills and capabilities whereas IIMs mostly they do get students within the country mostly.
    3. International business schools mostly they follow participative style of education whereas Indian styles are different.

    Having done some courses in Carnegie Mellons Tepper School of Business and pursuing MBA in one of the top 5 B-Schools in India, I can clearly see the differences in pedagogy adopted by International and Indian B-Schools. So let me list down the main differences that I observed:
    Work Experience: Foreign B-Schools give a lot of importance to the relevant work experience which is missing in many Indian B-Schools. People with lack of work experience lack hands on experience in their domain that affects their employability once they are done with Graduation.
