    Admission to the Government College of Engineering, Kannur, is moderately competitive. The ccollege offers only BTech and MTech courses. Admission to the B.E./B.Tech courses is based on KEAM scores. A favorable rank in the eam is always crucial for securing admission. Admission to M.Tech courses is based on GATE scores or institute-specific criteria. The college offers quality education along with excellent facilities, but the intense competition for seats, especially in popular branches, can be tough.

    Admission to Government College of Engineering, Kannur (GCEK) is competitive, but you can increase your chances by meeting the following eligibility requirements:

    Marks

    You must have at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics combined.

    Diploma

    You must have a Diploma in engineering from the Kerala state board of technical examinations or an equivalent diploma. You must have at least 50% marks in the final Diploma exam.

    Socially and educationally backward classes

    If you belong to this category and your family income is below Rs. 42,000, you must have at least 45% marks.
