These ticketing process have opened up a lot of opportunities for placements in the field. This ticketing sector now has new options, use of technology, and right from designing for the various software, marketing, training, and skill sets to use this software for ticketing. This is the main reason that the online ticketing process has brought about the ease at which people can book there trips and travel right from the comfort of their homes and also how the travel industry provides a one stop solution. So, in conclusion the online ticketing as brought a good options for great placements offering good positions, salaries and growth.

Online ticket booking has increased job opportunities in backend office work. It has shifted the skillset required for ticket booking. Earlier not much education was required to get into this field. With the advent of online booking, organizations need skilled people to handle the database and software systems. The requirement of a database administrator, web designer, app developer, and hardware networking. So, the skill set is now B.Tech/B.Sc/BCA to handle the complex system of ticket booking. With the unprecedented growth in the service industry, interest in the professional courses has increased among today's students. Air Ticketing courses are no exception. Airline Ticketing professionals cater to the needs of the increasingly mobile population of the globe. There are excellent career prospects in this course in India.

With the rise in technological advances, it is now possible to order food or medicines, to book a cab or hire a self driven car, or to buy movie or air tickets from the comforts of one's house, office or car. In today's smartphone world, there is an app for everything. Along with hundreds of third party apps for booking travel tickets, even major airlines and even the IRCTC for example has an app of their own fot booking airline or train tickets. You would think that all this rise of technology would deplete the need for ticketing agents and that in turn would mean the downfall of ticketing careers, right? Wrong! Along with the technological advances, what has increased is a persons need to travel and their spending capacities. More and more people are now travelling by aircrafts and under government. schemes like UDAN, even more people are bound to take the air route for their next journey. Not everyone is technologically literate and not everyone is comfortable yet using a smartphone to carry out banking transactions. As a result, with a rise in new potential customers, there always will be a rise in the demand for new ticketing agents at bigger and smaller cities. Anyone with a shop, a computer and an internet connection nowadays can become a ticketing agent and make a decent income from that. There always will be growth in the field of travelling and there is a very rare chance that demand for careers related to travelling will see a decline anytime soon.

Hello, Online ticketing and ticketing career. It's the subject that is making deep inroads into the job profiles and job prospects for many youngsters. In olden times, even air tickets were issued elaborately in physical form. As against this, in today's world, ticketing and online ticketing has become a big employer. All perceivable tickets are now being sold online and these agencies require experts to do the job. Airline tickets, bus tickets, railway tickets, cinema tickets, exhibition tickets. all are being sold online. Smartphones have further aided this career. With QR scan, the need for physical tickets has almost been eliminated. Travel agents, online travel portals, the online issuer of tickets all these agencies require trained professionals to man, interact with and finally issue tickets correctly to the consumer. And this all-round requirement has led to a boom in this career.To conclude, I would like to say that, our country is still miles behind Western countries and hence boom in this online ticketing career is going to continue in foreseeable future.
