Under Lateral Entry scheme, you can join in B.Tech Second year after qualifying the concern state university Entrance test for B.Tech Lateral Entry entrance test. Different states having different names for this lateral entry entrance test, so better to see state higher education councils website for these entrance test exact dates.

There is a provision of lateral entry in engineering in most of the universities. You have see dates and eligibility for the same on their websites.
