There are hundreds of MBA and EMBA programs offered in B-schools around the globe. EMBA simply stands for Executive Master of Business Administration, which is commonly misconstrued to be a superior form of MBA study. In actual fact, the two are pretty much equal in terms of cachet and value on graduation but they are delivered in entirely different ways.
    Application requirements:
EMBAs are catered towards working professionals with extensive work experience generally in the region of 10-15 years. During the selection period, EMBA admissions teams look for a varied professional background and with diverse work experience. It is assumed t

Well, I would like to thank you for providing me with the opportunity to answer this question. In conventional MBA, the candidate has to bear the responsibility entirely regarding the subjects taken in the specialization for two years full-fledged course. The candidate has to stay on the campus for 2 years and complete his/her course.
On the other hand, executive MBA is for working professionals. Those who have a solid track of experience, but stuck in a certain position for a number of years, this course will provide an immense enhancement in terms of knowledge and hierarchy. Executive MBA has multiple options for the working profession

EMBAs are catered towards working professionals with extensive work experience generally in the region of 10-15 years. During the selection period, EMBA admissions teams look for a varied professional background and with diverse work experience. It is assumed that applicants will already have extensive business knowledge picked up over their career. Thus they are not usually required to sit entry exams although applicants without Bachelors degree may require a GMAT score.

An EMBA is often mistaken for being a superior version of its better-known counterpart the MBA. In fact, the two are very similar in terms of content, prestige, and value to employers. But the two programs are delivered in very different formats, require different levels of commitment, and serve different career aspirations.
    Length and schedule
An MBA, or Master of Business Administration, is a general management degree. There are one and two-year programs but both tend to be full-time and require you to be on campus. EMBA stands for Executive MBA and is also a general management qualification but are typically part-time programs that ta

The difference is in the following parameters:
Length- Regular MBA is of two years, Executive MBA is of one year in most cases
Rigor- Both are at par as in regular MBA you are taught a lot more subjects and the internship component, assignments, mandatory credits, dissertation are very stringent. On the other hand in an executive MBA, the program is condensed into one year but the internship component is not there in most cases
Cohort- The regular MBA program in India has candidates with zero to even 5 or 6 years of experience. Around 60% of the batch at top b-schools has less than 2 years of experience, meaning a much younger age of the
