How is B.Arch at LPU?

B.Arch at LPU is a good choice based on my own personal experience. The faculty is very experienced and highly educated. In the programme, innovative teaching practices are adopted. One such practice is called Experiential learning week which is organized every semester in which students are taken to nearby historic and construction sites and are given live case studies to do. In design studios, the professors encourage students to take challenging and practical design problems. There is a rich culture of internships for final year students who go for very challenging and top placements nationally as well as internationally through department. The department is actively working to arrange internships by making a cluster of architectural and consultant firms with them. A series of guest lectures and talks are organized throughout the year in school of architecture in which world-renowned architects are invited. I have done my Graduation from LPU and there were a lot of projects which I have done with B.Arch students even we have managed lots of events together and as per their feedback and experience, LPU is one of the best places for B.Arch. Lpu is better in all the aspects like teaching, curriculum, infrastructure, experience, placements etc. The architecture programme of lpu is approved by the agency of COA. Lpu provides the best academic exposure to it's students. The world-class infrastructure is congenial for the study of architecture. Many workshops and seminars are conducted by industry experts as LPU believes in experiential learning. Students are exposed to real site situations through in-house and external visits for visual orientation. Emphasis is given on the Entrepreneurship projects/Consultancy projects which give a cutting edge to the students of the University. So, I can definitely say that lpu provides a better learning experience and opportunities.
