    Hi Anirban,
The electrical engineering department in GNDEC is much better than IEM or Techno India Kolkata. You will get experienced faculties in GNDEC, which will help you to understand the subject more clearly. You will get chances to be placed in top IT companies and few core companies as well. Complete your diploma and go for GNDEC.
    Best of luck.

I can't say about GNDEC but the electrical department in IEM is good, better than Techno. Though EE is a relatively new department compared to CSE, IT, and ECE but students of EE branch have proven themselves in this short time. The placement scenario is quite good. Mostly IT companies recruit students but there are some core companies like Blue Star, Godrej, etc. as well.
You can definitely take admission in EE department in IEM.
    Best of Luck.

Well, GNDEC is one of the prestigious college of Punjab and the EE department is one of the best department of this college, all the faculties are Ph.D qualified and well experience.
The placement for EE department is also very good, recently 80% students placed through campus.
The best faculty award goes to EE department previous year, the environment for EE is also very good, the practical is available in good quality, and you can join college after completing your Diploma.
