MOOT COURTS are there which include: Beyond the class room: 1. Regular Moot Courts sessions help students appreciate various interpretations of law and develop analytical ability and argumentative skills. 2. Generate awareness about contemporary issues to identify corresponding legal challenges and implications. 3. Regular guest lectures by eminent persons from the field of law with a view to provide practical Knowledge to students. 4. LPU is first and foremost a professional university, which aligns subjects and streams for the specific benefit of their students to gain the best knowledge that will benefit them and make them ready for their specific professional careers in whatever field and specialisation they choose. As a result, students are motivated to augment their classroom learning by engaging in specially organized moot court and debate competitions. Moot Court contests held around the country have rewarded LPU Law students with awards. Moot court tournaments have also been held at the university on a national level. In addition, the department invites eminent guest lecturers from the legal profession, such as Advocate Rajiv Kumar, Advocate-On-Record (Supreme Court of India), to talk and encourage future lawyers. The aim of these guest lectures is to familiarise students with the intricacies of legal discourse. The School of Law is also known for hosting prestigious national and international conferences on a regular basis to provide academic support to students. In November 2017, LPU hosted the National Conference on Cyber Law and IT Security. Coming to the placements, LPU grooms the students for a successful professional career by offering soft skills classes that offer guidance on how to face interviews, dress code, preparing an impressive resume.
