How is internship at LPU, do I have to search of my own or will LPU help me.

Hi, I am also a student at LPU currently pursuing B.Tech CSE Hons. There and I have noticed that LPU provides internships to the students with other opportunities attached with them. You just need to prove your potential and keep your grades good to be able to sit in those placement and internship drives. Also, there are PEP classes provided by LPU to nourish and make the student competent enough for the corporates. LPU students have access to various full-time internships and continuing education opportunities at well-known companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, Forbes Marshall, Bosch, Cognizant, Escorts, Flipkart, Hexaware, IBM, Infineon, ITC, Nestl, Radisson, Sonalika, Synopsys, TEK Systems, Wipro, etc. We have developed a student engagement model where students can choose between an internship and a pre-internship offer lasting six months to a year. Student successfully completes both his studies and his internship and is hired as a full-time employee based on his performance during the internship.

Hi, LPU offers a lot of internship opportunities to its students and most of them are paid internships I. e. you will earn during internships. Coming to your question, it is your choice whether you want to opt for internship by your own or you want it from the university. But the university do verify that the company where you are going to do internship is good or not. Thanks.

LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. Apart from that, internships, as well as capstone projects, are an integral part of the curriculum which are very vital for getting placement. A lot of students have successfully started their own ventures as entrepreneurs. The university has its own start-up school which promotes start-ups in collaboration with the startup India programme. Being an alumni at LPU, as per my knowledge and observation, LPU offers you many options and chances for internships, it's all up to us to grab it. Recently my B.Tech friends have been told about the opportunity for a summer internship in many companies and similarly, in my journalism dept, we're also getting opportunities for internships in several media houses. And I think 550+ companies visit every year for internships and placement of students. Also, LPU has its own startup school which was inaugurated by None other than late Shri Arun Jaitley. So basically you don't need to search for internships, LPU IS THERE FOR YOU. Just look around and be updated. Always attend your placement classes.
