    The package for freshers and experienced are almost same. Only IT companies differentiate between freshers and experienced. Out of 84 students in the recently placed batch, only 7 students received package less than 6lpa. The future of insurance in India is very bright as it is still an untapped market in India. There is a very huge growth potential for insurance in India.
  • Freshers and those who having experience are considered equally by NIA. Those who having experience has a advantage over others depending on the respective company policy. The average package offered in NIA is around 6.91 l.p.a. Separate data for freshers is not available with me. Almost half of the batch is consists of students without any work experience. More than half of the batch is consists of engineers. Insurance is a promising sector and is expected to grow in line with the economy. You can pursue certifications like fellowship from Insurance Institute of India, Fellow of Institute of Actuaries, AICPCU, CII, LOMA etc. I would l
