How is LPU for B.Sc agriculture?

Hello,The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is the apex body for coordinating, guiding, and managing research and education in agriculture in the entire country. If the University is ICAR approved, It means the university has all the resources like fields, labs, etc. And it will help you to get a better job. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph. This and provide full support to the students.

LPU is very good for agriculture. Though, there are very few courses which are working well in which agriculture is one of them. Though, it depends upon person to person that what kind of expectations or career plans one have, but for a good kick start, it is suitable.

Anup, Agriculture is the classifications name for the farming industry. It refers to the production of goods through the growing of plants and fungi and the raising of domesticated animals. The study of agriculture is known as agricultural Science. The related practice of gardening is studied in horticulture. The duration of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture is four years. One thing we should keep in mind before taking admission for such course, is that the University we are choosing, must provide us deep and practical knowledge of the core subjects, must adapt for new technologies faster and the University environment should be healthy and clean and LPU does it all perfectly. LPU becomes India's first Private University to get ICAR Accreditation. Among all 8 institutions evaluated at Cars 22nd Board Meeting, LPU School of Agriculture was approved for accreditation with one of the highest ratings. LPU focuses on quality education a lot and all the professors of LPU are highly qualified and friendly, LPU also focuses a lot on practical knowledge and agriculture students of LPU has to go through various such practical tasks and projects which makes it very easy to understand the concepts and develop a deep knowledge of the subjects.

LPU is well known for its B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture course. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph.Ds. This and provide full support to the students. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. If I talk about placements, University provides separate placement oriented classes, and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etc. as part of the curriculum to prepare the students. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms.

Hello,\ There are lot of Colleges and universities which are doing great in agriculture studies but as per my expert, LPU is one of the best choice for the agriculture programme. Lovely Professional University is first private university accredited by Indian Council of Agricultural Research. No other private university has this accreditation. LPU is one of the great place for education where the management actually believe on actions rather than words. Whatever they promised they delivered to us along with in campus placement at good package and best time of life.

Dear, in one word B.Sc agriculture of LPU is good. Course, infrastructure, faculty and hostel really reached the satisfaction level. Placement is reported to be satisfactory excepting in 2018. However for better knowledge you may visit their official site and if available alumni site too. Best Wishes.

LPU is one of the best choice for agriculture programme. Lovely Professional University is first private university accredited by Indian Council of Agricultural Research. No other private university has this accreditation. LPU is one of the great place for education where the management actually believe on actions rather than words. Whatever they promised they delivered to us along with in campus placement at good package.
