How is LPU in terms of placements?

And generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session. Rs. 80,000 per month as the highest Internship Stipend Availed by LPU Student (Summer Internship with Microsoft). More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment. Hi Rishab, Lovely Professional University is having remarkable placements record. Record 100% placements to all the eligible candidates and placements aspiring candidates. Actually You do not need to worry for placements if you are studying in LPU. More than 650 companies stepped in at LPU campus to recruit LPU brilliants. Now just think, there are only 365 days in a year, if more 650 companies are coming, it means students are witnessing two or may be more than two companies at every alternative day. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Moreover the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) such as Amazon, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Trident Group, Cognizant Technology Solutions etc. and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session.

Actually, it primarily depends on the stream you are pursuing. For example, here at LPU, you will notice that there are much more placements opportunities for important streams like CSE. But rest get less importance. But overall I will say placement is a bit better than the average.

Hi Rishabh, The most crucial and optimal stage of your career would be the final year of your graduation and the one following that. If you have to spend that 2 years of valuable time in the search of a job, I feel you will have a lot of experiences to gain but you may end up missing a chance to try on many other things. I did MBA from LPU and currently I am working with Redington with high package. LPU is helping me grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support. Actually Salary package depends on factors like specialisation, Institute, Company offering job, students academic performance, work experience etc. The placements are tremendous and you will get plenty of opportunities to choose from but it is your duty to maintain a capable academic record so that you can fetch a job in the best company that visits the university for recruitment. The placement in MBA at LPU is about 95% and above. Almost all batches were placed in well-known companies. Average package offered for MBA students is 4.5 LPA. Every year, Around 550+ companies visit for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. And this year for batch graduating in 2019, already more than 650 placement/internship drives have been conducted till February 2019 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) This companies are visited LPU campus for recruitment. Since you are evaluated by the interviewer before your salary is decided. So, these factors work together, some antagonistically and some synergistically to decide your salary package. Have written above things, I will add that even if after MBA you land a job at an average or below average salary, then please do not get disheartened and instead focus on learning on your first job and improving your professional skills. Dear Rishabh, Since you haven't asked for any specific programme, I'll enumerate some facts about LPU placements as a whole: Total Companies visiting campus : 650+ Total Placement drives : 900+ Total Companies offering above 20LPA: 20+ Total companies offering 10 LPA: 60+ Total companies out of fortune 500 club : 100+ Total companies which visit LPU only, outside of IITs and Iims: 80+ Placement percentage : 80 to 100% of all eligible students across all programs Total placements : 10000+ Hope this helps DVD.
