<p>By maintaining well-equipped labs and cultivating a strong environment of inter- and intra-institution research, the Research and Development Cell at LPU was established with the goal of strengthening and supporting research in STEM, Humanities, and Management with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary research and innovation.</p><p>The Research and Development Cell, which consists of several departments and has advanced instrumentation for many different types of analytical procedures, manages research-related activities at the central level in order to conduct research in high-priority areas.</p><p>A large number of top-notch equipment is kept in LPU's Central Instrumentation Facility to help advance the limits of scientific and technological study. These tools and resources enable faculty, research associates, and students to conduct basic, applied, and medical scientific research that is competitive globally. The Centre aspires to grow its facilities yearly so that it becomes a key facility for the nation. We anticipate that through realising CIF, our nation will gain a renowned centre for innovative and team-based analytical research. Supportive research policy has fostered an environment conducive to purposeful research resulting in the publication of 9132 research papers, 22703 book chapters and 395 patents. LPU has a dedicated wing known as the Central Instrumentation Facility that houses many high-end instruments for moving Science and technology research to new heights. Let me give me some of the instances: Engineering Students at Lovely Professional University (LPU) have designed and created a unique solar-powered driverless bus. The bus is slated to enter into commercial service later this year and its first prototype will be utilized to welcome and ferry Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the venue of world the largest Indian Science Congress ISC 2019 to be inaugurated at LPU campus on 3rdJanuary 2019. This, Five-Day 106th edition of ISC 2019 will be held from 3rd to 7th January at LPU.
