How is LPU Punjab for Journalism and Mass Communication?

One of my friend has done same course from Lovely Professional University offers B.A. (Journalism & Mass Communication). I would like to share few points which will help you:- Lovely Professional University is one of the best universities in the country and will definitely a good choice for B.J. M. C. They way they offer exposure for this practical course is worth mentioning. They have their own in campus media channel- Y TV, where the students work and have hands on experience of the real life media channel scenario. Apart from this there are many other events like Coke Studio, YouthVibe, etc. Taking place where the students are made part of it to give them the filed experience. Most of these things are part of their curriculum. Regular educational trips to various newspapers, channels, etc. Are arranged for students. The students dealing with electronic media are given platform to make and showcase their documentaries on relevant topics. There are workshops and seminars every month which helped me to learn a lot, like last year we got a workshop by PTI senior editor, he taught us various things about the media industry. So similarly their many workshops have attended like in the field of radio, tv production, etc. Also your subjects added in the curriculum is very interesting, like digital media, public relations advertising, event management workshop on media writing, etc. Basically LPU curriculum in this field is very interesting and according to updated time. Journalism programme in LPU is designed to expose students to all dimensions of Print, Electronic and New Age Media. Focus on enhancing technical skills of reporting, news design software, video editing, photography etc. The degree is awarded in mass communication with concentrations in journalism, sports communication, advertising, communication studies, an international communication, and public relations. This study includes a variety of course offerings in New Media. The Mass Communication programme offers students an interdisciplinary foundation in the basic theory and skills necessary to become media practitioners and more informed media consumers.
