How is LPU Punjab for Journalism and Mass Communication?

I have idea that LPU offers B.A. And M.A. Course under journalism and media course. I have completed MBA from LPU and one of my friend has completed M.A. And mass communication. I can share details of this course- The programme is designed to expose students to all dimensions of Print, Electronic and New Age Media. The main Focus is on enhancing technical skills of reporting, news design software, video editing, photography, etc. He told me School of Education, Lovely Professional University- LPU is a leading teacher education institution in northern India. The school offers courses from undergraduate to doctorate level. The courses are recognised by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) and the state government. They have their own in campus media channel- Y TV, where the students work and have hands on experience of the real life media channel scenario. Apart from this there are many other events like Coke Studio, YouthVibe, etc. Taking place where the students are made part of it to give them the filed experience. Regular educational trips to various newspapers, channels, etc. Are arranged for students. The School has an enriched library with a huge stock of books, reference materials and journals (print as well as online), and modern lab facilities to support teaching, learning and research. The school is a life-long member of Global Educational Research Association (GERA), All India Association of Educational Research (AIAER) and Indian Association of Teacher Education (IATE). Focus on enhancing technical skills of reporting, news design software, video editing, photography etc. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants). Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs etc. Are an integral part of curriculum.
