How is the campus life at LPU?

Hi, The campus and hostel life is amazing at LPU. The environment on campus is peaceful as well as enthusiastic. With daily events and functions going on in the largest private university (LPU), the aura of the university is one sight to SEE. I have an international friend on campus and he says that he loves the ambiance and liveliness of the campus and loves his time there. He's a bright mind who's developing and thriving in the great environment of LPU. With the freedom to achieve dreams come responsibilities too. 1. LPU has stringent security measures and is Guarded by highly dedicated Security male and Female Guards deputed all around the premises 2. LPU has a Centralised Security Control Room with 4500+ CCTV cameras all around the university. 3. The head of the security of the university is also under the retired Brigadier (Indian Army) ensuring strict compliance of law and regulation in the university. 4. Zero-tolerance Policy for Drugs, Ragging, Eve-teasing 5. There's free internet provided for you. 6. You must carry id card with you every time you want to enter or leave the hostel since it is bio-metric. Also, the hostels are amazing and I'd like to tell you some things about the hostels. Lpu has a world-class infrastructure. It has 7 boys hostel and 6 girls hostel. There are apartments also available on the lpu campus so if you want to go for an apartment then also you can opt it for. Along with all this lpu also provides free Wi-Fi. So, this is how LPU campus life is and my peers including me love it and crave for it.

College life entirely depends on what you do with your life in college! LPU will give you all you want for successful career and skills thereof. But won't give you enough time to waste on non productive and unnecessary things. You get tons of organisations to join, large number of events to participate, organist and enjoy. Large number of leisurely places, be it central vista or Mall or playgrounds or gyms or swimming pools or indoor stadium or skating rink or nets to practice. But it does not compromise in any case with your safety, your studies, your skill attainment, your employability and finally your placements. Whatever the duration of your programme, your campus life will depend on what YOU do with it. If you are sincere towards studies or any other activity, it will be great. University charges fee from your parents to enable a great career for you, and that's what LPU does the best.

One of my nephew took admission in LPU who told that LPU is a big university with beautiful campus surrounded by lush green gardens. It is spread over 600 acres. LPU Campus is just like a city which has a complete mall, hospital, post office, 100s of food kiosks, fire brigade station, stadiums, helipads, Flyover, 100s of ATMs, banks auditoriums, open air theaters, e- rickshaws, cricket ground, basketball court, indoor swimming pool, badminton court, gym as per Olympics standards. #In academics, LPU has many rankings to its credit, pedagogy is updated one and academic content is mapped with the industry requirement. She told that LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same and has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognozant, SAP, Microsoft etc. To provide updated curriculum. LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. #In addition to this he mentioned that LPU provides ample opportunities to the students for their placement by providing special classes from day one as there is a special division I. e Division of Career Services who only tales care of the placement services. #He was delighted to share that every year more than 550 companies visit to hire students. Hi veer, I have studied in LPU, lived in hostel. So, I am eligible to answer this question in better way. My experience at LPU was amazing, LPU is one of the best choices indeed. It provides for multiple industrial exposures, live projects, an updated curriculum rigor and technology along with very good placements and personality development. LPU is not only the largest university of the country but also the university with the most diverse student population. Learning in LPU will make you a truly global citizen. The first time I visited the campus I had no idea how big the campus would be, I was not prepared to witness such a huge walk down but later got used to it. I would say be prepared to witness muscle pain in initial few days if you are not used to physical exercise on regular bases. It provides all the facilities inside campus, let it be from restaurants, eateries, grooming facilities, ATMs, bowling alley, hospital, banks, and post-offices, Hospitals are available. LPU has its own 8 storey mall which has shops for literally everything including gadgets and a departmental store like WH SMITH LPU's infrastructure is one of the biggest & best in the World. Don't miss the opportunity to refresh yourself by attending the fun events in the evening especially in the month of August. University spends a lot for theses kinds of events. Join a Student Organisation. It's about exposing yourself to something new every time and meeting new people you have an opportunity. There are endless options to choose from and whenever in a fix, go with the NSS or NCC for some community service. Pursue your hobby, Many come to college life saying to themselves Ah, here I am finally. Free from everyone, the family, the society back home and decide to pursue theatre or learn to dance or try the guitar or start your own entrepreneurial venture. By the time people realize it, times already gone. So, it becomes crucial to experiment early. LPU provides you wide platform to groom your personality. All you need to do is just to participate in various programs/ events organized by Division of student affairs. I would suggest you to join this department to have holistic growth of your personality. LPU has a zero-tolerance policy against ragging and indiscipline. LPU has 200+ full-time Security Staff which has quick reaction team to handle any kind of contingencies. LPU provides round the clock CCTV surveillance and also have full-fledged Fire Brigade. Being an Alumni as well as an existing student of LPU, I feel the campus life at LPU is totally mesmerizing. LPU provides a well and good residential facility with such a fascinating campus. The University has a beautiful campus with facilities like an Indoor Stadium, Eating joints, Unimall, gaming hubs, Eating joints, activities of student organizations etc. The hostel facility of LPU provides nice exposure to students with which they can spend more time with their friends. I must say that the campus itself is so beautifully designed that one can never get tired of just having a glance ATIT.

Dear Veer, When I first entered LPU I was feeling fascinated by looking at the infrastructure of the Campus and on the other hand, I was also feeling very nervous about my life at Campus Hostel but trust me I shouldnt have been because I had an awesome Hostel Life, Made so many friends, created so many memories, learned from many experiences, etc. All facilitates are provided at the Campus Hostel and you'll have the complete choice to choose the accommodation that suits you and your budget. Zero Ragging/ Zero Discrimination: Nobody is ragged at LPU, This word actually doesn't exist here. There is complete secularism in the LPU hostel life as you will find seniors and juniors treated similarly at the Campus and even at the Hostel. So, there is no division among the students as per their academic year like other campus hostels. Students from the various ends of the country/ neighboring countries come and join LPU and lives in the same Hostel without any discrimination. Food/ Mess: Honestly I won't lie about the mess at the campus, because I myself took food for the first 6 months at the hostel mess until I explored other good places but there are so many people who actually like a mess. If you're one of them very good and if not then fab you're in my gang so, you don't have to worry at all about the food at LPU because there are like 358+ shops inside the campus providing all varieties of food from continental to south Indian and that too at very mediocre rates. Some days if you don't feel like going out you can even order at Dominoes, go to CCD, Mall, etc. Food is not at all a problem at LPU. Outdoor Games/ Indoor Games/Gym: There are so many places at Campus for outdoor games and as well as indoor games. Some are campus properties and some are vendor properties (game parlors) where you'll have to pay to play. Everything is fun wherever you fit in yourself. A Campus-To Fall in LOVE with ! LPU campus is spread over 700+ acres. I get to know when I visited to enroll myself It has all the facilities in one campus, let it be the hospital, shopping mall, hotel, banks, ATM machines campus is one of the safest campuses maintained by over 400 full-time security professionals, most of whom are experienced ex-military personnel. I was surprised to SEE the diverse dining and shopping options available within the university campus. There is a state-of-the-art 8-storey mall which has shops of all possible needs, departmental stores, and gadget stores too. Diverse options of dining are also available within the campus, which range from traditional Indian sweets to modern coffee shops. Most importantly, it has various banks with more than 50 ATMs inside the campus; hence, students need not go outside for any kind of transactions. The campus of LPU is so vast that it has its own postal code and office. I would recommend you to visit this university once if you are planning to get admission for yourself or your anyone else. Thanks to e-rickshaw and local auto anyone can now commute easily inside the campus. It really is one of the largest and well built university in India.
