How is the college life in LPU University?

Hi there, College life entirely depends on what you do with your life in college! LPU will give you all you want for successful career and skills thereof. But won't give you enough time to waste on non productive and unnecessary things. You get tons of organisations to join, large number of events to participate, organist and enjoy. Large number of leisurely places, be it central vista or Mall or playgrounds or gyms or swimming pools or indoor stadium or skating rink or nets to practice. But it does not compromise in any case with your safety, your studies, your skill attainment, your employability and finally your placements. Whatever the duration of your programme, your campus life will depend on what YOU do with it. If you are sincere towards studies or any other activity, it will be great. University charges fee from your parents to enable a great career for you, and that's what LPU does the best. Hope this helps DVD.

Hello! I remember that day when I decided to get enrolled with Lovely Professional University, I was completely puzzled and has numerous questions in my head. When I headed to the university, I remember my heart was racing up. My brain had turned into mush. So many questions and one answer, yes I am here finally surpassing all the barricades. When I entered the University, it was like a dream. Huge buildings, clean lawns, mesmerizing ambiences, beautiful roads, smiling faces left me delighted. For a while, I felt I have landed in some western university. It was so pleasant. I gazed. I gaped. I loved it. Lovely was lovely indeed. I loved every atom of it. I went straight to the admission block, got myself admitted. And next day classwork started. Meanwhile, on way to my classes, I found a glimpse of literary activities taking place in front of a building. It was enchanting. I always wanted to participate in literary and cultural activities. I approached them. I instantly was entertained by the Literary Club. I attended two-three classes, it had the best experience and then gradually, became the part of the team. Later on with the pace of time, build relationships with many across the country and even abroad was one of my best experience. I always use to say Now, I have friends in almost all the state of India. I am liked every atom of my university from lawns to roads, from canteens to hostels, from libraries to laboratories. It is a place to rejoice, a place to recreate, a place which offers you peace, contentment, and love. Events and Activities : To make the stay of the students a pleasant one they are constantly involved by organizing various celebrations, events and activities likes cultural activities, sports, debates and declamations. Various competitions are organized where students from different hostels compete with each other. Apart from this, various clubs and forums work inside the hostels providing the students opportunities to develop certain skills in their fields of interest and inculcating in them a sense of regular practice and discipline. I have been with LPU for 5 core years of my life and I would say it is one of the best learning platform one can ever have. Very reasonable at price so that even middle class people like us can afford quality education. It has a happy and fun filled environment that keeps us away from stress. And side wise there are multiple activities that helps you experiential learn and grow. As an alumnae I have personally experienced the style and learning pedagogy of LPU. I can vouch on their upbringing and training style that builds our career in the long run. I found Lovely Professional University's curriculum, exposure and training to be very effective. Round the year there are wonderous efforts LPU placements puts in transforming and polishing their students in best direction. There are multiple corporate interactions, HR conclaves, live projects, industry competition, professional enhancement training etc. That plays the magic. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services (team of about 40 person) and faculty/staff from parent School. The Sports and Cultural activities exist at both recreational and competitive levels, ensuring the participation of LPU teams in local, regional and national competitions. Beating the notion that students essentially need to make shopping plans after their day at college, LPU gives them the option of strolling around from their classrooms to the Mall located in the Campus itself having a fully fledged prerequisites of a shopping complex known as Student Academic Resource Centre or university MALL, where Students can now shop, hangout and relish some wonderful eateries. The Student Academic Resource Centre is a step towards nurturing the entrepreneurial talents of the Students. It acts as a start-up incubation centre and also a one-step hub for all the daily requirements and amusement for them. Two things that comes to my mind when I think of Life @ LPU are SAFE &amp; SERENE. LPU caters to the overall development of their students by providing: Student Services, Campus Security, university Hospital, University Management System, Apartment Style Residential Facilities, Transportation Facilities, Shopping and Dining, Banking and Postal Services, Education Loan Assistance and most importantly Placements. All these facilities are at the beck and call of the hostler. Manned by over 400 full time security officials, thousands of security cameras, LPU is one of the safest campuses in the world. Security officials and personnel are on duty 24 x 7 to ensure that no drug ever enters the campus. LPU has more CCTVs than even the New Delhi International Airport. LPU has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles, thereby ensuring that every movement is monitored. There are many student's organisations. Lovely Professional University had a memorable eve as it hosted FBB campus princess where former Femina Miss India United Continents Sana Dua adjudicated various aspirants of Miss India title. The students of Lovely Professional University witnessed one of the most fascinating musical event Coke Studio at LPU, Baldev Raj Mittal Unipolis. Lovely Professional University witnessed absolute madness as the students celebrated the presence of international singing sensation Guru Randhawa. Student organisation Spade, DSW organized the Grand finale of the Devils Hunt Talent show at LPU to embrace the talent of the aspirants. Dear Deepak, I would say &quot;AWESOME&quot;. I spent two years of my MBA at LPU and those were memorable days for me and unforgettable ever. When I first entered LPU I was feeling fascinated by looking at the infrastructure of the Campus and on the other hand, I was also feeling very nervous about my life at Campus Hostel but trust me I shouldnt have been because I had an awesome Hostel Life, Made so many friends, created so many memories, learned from many experiences, etc. All facilitates are provided at the Campus Hostel and you'll have the complete choice to choose the accommodation that suits you and your budget. Zero Ragging/ Zero Discrimination: Nobody is ragged at LPU, This word actually doesn't exist here. There is complete secularism in the LPU hostel life as you will find seniors and juniors treated similarly at the Campus and even at the Hostel. So, there is no division among the students as per their academic year like other campus hostels. Students from the various ends of the country/ neighboring countries come and join LPU and lives in the same Hostel without any discrimination. Food/ Mess: Honestly I won't lie about the mess at the campus, because I myself took food for the first 6 months at the hostel mess until I explored other good places but there are so many people who actually like a mess. If you're one of them very good and if not then fab you're in my gang so, you don't have to worry at all about the food at LPU because there are like 358+ shops inside the campus providing all varieties of food from continental to south Indian and that too at very mediocre rates. Some days if you don't feel like going out you can even order at Dominoes, go to CCD, Mall, etc. Food is not at all a problem at LPU. Outdoor Games/ Indoor Games/Gym: There are so many places at Campus for outdoor games and as well as indoor games. Some are campus properties and some are vendor properties (game parlors) where you'll have to pay to play. Everything is fun wherever you fit in yourself.
