The course structure is up to date with the latest developments in the media industry. In this course, you learn about everything related to media, from print journalism to radio, advertising, public relations, event management, graphic designing, television industry, films, news anchoring etc.
Placement record is very good, with most of the students being placed who have a good academic track record.

LPU is producing smart and intelligent journalists. Not only journalists you can find LPU journalism students at various sectors of Media and Entertainment. For e.g.: I know one LPU Student who got placed as a Celebrity Manager in T-series. LPU provides teaching by Doctorate faculty along with the handful practical study by experienced professionals. The course is 3 years long. divided into 6 semesters. Students are taught 9-10 subjects every semester, excluding foreign language and an open elective course. Subjects range from writing, reporting, TV journalism, radio to photography, newsroom practices. English and Behavioural Science are taught as an value added course. About the placements, there is a dedicated placement cell in the college.
