The cut off marks for taking admission in Jharkhand's Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP) are different for different courses and categories. The cutoff marks for MD courses are 550-600 for general category students, and 400-450 for OBC/SC/ST students and 500-550 for students belonging to NEET PG. For MPhil courses, the passing rate in the entrance test is 60%-70%. The institute then also looks at the candidates' performance in their qualifying exams.
